This look would consist of 2 large flokati rugs for under the dining table. I personally would use real wool flokati rugs, but the real ones tend to be a cream color instead of white and I realize that would bother some readers. So, I’ve listed the white flokati rug from Serena & Lilly, which is synthetic. If you want the real thing on a budget grab 2 from Ikea. I can personally attest to how amazing they are so far. They feel like pools of billowy clouds beneath your feet and the softness reminds me of rabbits fur (not dead rabbits btw). The Eames chair look-a –likes are by Baxton Studio and are the side chairs, with the head of the table chairs, which is what I refer to them as being, are the Oresund Chairs by Anthropologie.

I personally would make a hand-made bench for the other side of the table. It’s not stylish to have every chair match and I personally find it boring. However, I feel when decorating and or designing your home you are to do what makes you happy, even if it means breaking “rules” of style. If you are going for a soothing look, yet want to mix up your pieces, then you can keep all of your chairs within similar neutral colors, such as gray and cream.

I plan on using some of these pieces for my dining room so stay tuned for the reveal.

  1. Fantastic picks! And I agree that a handmade bench would look great for the other side of the table. I'm so glad to be your newest follower, love your blog!
