When I was a kid I remember my parents attending some amazing adult only Halloween parties. At least I think they were amazing. I mean they had to be if I wasn't allowed to attend, right? At least that's how most kids tend to think.  Anyways, it's easy to find kiddy themed Halloween decor, but what about something a little more chic and grown up for adults?

I wasn't sure what I'd find but I scoured the web and came up with what I think are some pretty great finds. For instance, the slate coasters and slate stone placemat/cheese board from West Elm are perfect and chic for a Halloween party but also can be used year round, which makes it a more economical choice.

The CB2 glass bubble is something I own and super cheap. It's just for year round decor, but if you add it to a large pillar candle holder in the middle of your Halloween vignette it becomes a crystal ball.

I love the Grandin Road talking head busts. They look like real stone, their eyes glow, their heads turn to one another and they speak when you pass by. Also, the life sized and detailed headless horsemen is pretty creepy. You hear the sound of thundering hooves and neighing as you pass by, not to mention the eyes of the pumpkin light up. The headless horseman decor is on trend with the new and spooky hit series, Sleepy Hollow on Fox.

Of course it's not a chic party without some awesome barware, and Z Gallerie was a great choice this year for that. I love the on-trend faceted black ice gems and glasses.

Do you have any Halloween Party Plans this year?

  1. I am slowly collecting some awesome looking decor for Halloween. I honestly do not want to waste my money on the kid friendly ones because we just make them! But I would purchase some of those! As for the party..not at our own house...and certainly will not be as chic as those decorations! But we will be attending some kid friendly ones

  2. I agree with you- halloween can be chic and even encourage that for my daughter because I think halloween can be fun with out the cheese and not to crazy over the top.

Nothing to crazy for Halloween this year- we are going to try and go around the block with my daughter but she's only 15 months :)

    1. I love all types of Halloween decor, though I do understand how some people don't prefer some of it. It's so cute that you are taking your daughter out. I did the same for my little ones and was scolded by some of the women. They thought we were really just collecting the candy for ourselves. lol

  6. Simply loved these Halloween party decor ideas. Great to know about this party. Thinking to book New York event venues this year for my Halloween party. My kid’s gonna enjoy this a lot as going to invite their all classmates.
